I’m Mica Allan, an ICF Certified coach, communication skills specialist and educator with over 28 years’ experience helping professionals build confidence, clarity and connection in their work and lives. Through one-to-one coaching and creative learning programmes, I help people think differently, communicate with impact, and make meaningful progress in their careers. In short, I’m all about learning, and helping others learn too. My background spans teaching, training, and coaching, with over 1,500 coaching sessions delivered to professionals across the world. My clients include Google, BP, IBM, Delivery Hero, Hewlett Packard and Accenture, and my career has taken me through classrooms, lecture halls, and boardrooms, all with one goal in mind: helping people think, communicate, and grow with confidence.

The Personal
A Scottish heart with an international story.
I’m from Edinburgh, Scotland. Marrying a lovely Viking took me to Iceland, The Land of Fire and Ice, and now I live in The Netherlands, The Land of Tulips and Cheese.
Personal highlights:
• I’ve been Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet
• I’ve run public speaking and debating clubs in Edinburgh and Amsterdam
• I was a freelance writer for 11 years and belong to the “Write & Shine” community of writers
• I’m a huge West Wing fan - C.J. Cregg is one of my role models
• Cheddar cheese makes me happy
• I have a little tea trolley in my kitchen with 31 kinds of tea
